Countess KMT Praschma
Kim Praschma runs a boutique, elite breeding programme from her country estate near Johannesburg, dedicated to producing exceptional, KUSA-registered hounds. A respected figure in the South African pedigree exhibition circuit, she is known for her understanding of the structure and temperament of the breeds she loves.
Kim is a direct descendant of the House of Praschma, a historical noble family of Central Europe. She brings that family's long tradition of estate management and uncompromising standards to her kennel – pairing European heritage with the towering hounds of Celtic nobility and the spirited German badger hounds.

Kim serves as a committee member of the South African Dachshund Club, and officiated as the Carting Judge at their 55th Annual Championship Show.

Backed by veterinary science
Her daughter, Dr Tamarin Praschma (BVSc MRCVS), is an internationally accredited veterinary surgeon who trained in animal nutrition and breeding at the University of Pretoria, informing our neonatal care.

Kim also owns and runs Purrfect Pet Hotel – premium country-estate boarding for dogs, cats, parrots and exotic pets, on the same secure Farmall estate near Randburg. The same care that raises our puppies looks after other people's animals every day.
